Crompton Corp. began production on a new line of kosher glycerines last month. The production increase comes in response to a trend toward more consumption of products with kosher ingredients in personal care products, cosmetics, soaps and detergents, Crompton executives said.
The new line will account for about 50% of all glycerin production at the company’s Memphis, TN-based facility, with an overall capacity increase of 10%. More info: Webs
